High/Low 3.8.07
Howdy Partners!
Yee haw! Thursday already! Well we got some snow but THANK GOODNESS!!! It did not stick to the roads! I am so grateful for that.. I stayed at work all day and I'm glad I did.. I am much more productive at work than sitting here in my robe. The snow that has accumulated on the grass and tree limbs looks very beautiful.. just the kind of snow I like.. the kind that doesn't interfere with driving!
ok.. onto 3 things 2 things
3 things that make me happy:
1. My flowers that Kevin sent me are STILL looking great! I had to take a few out that started wilting.. but all in all.. I am still enjoying them everyday at work! It's so awesome how flowers make your day so much nicer.. more colorful.. and the funny thing is.. the morning that I received the flowers. I bought pink gerber daisies for my desk so i have flowers on 2 areas of my desk!
2. I send (2) surprise gifts to 2 people and I am SO excited to hear how they like them!!! (Wayne and my boss.. just so you know who)
3. OOH.. I found this really cute rug.. ON SALE and I think I'm going to get it for my new space!!! (Check it out!)
*4. My roomie Angela is moving out and in our correspondence.. she wrote something really nice about me.. which made me feel really good. Thanks Ang!
2 things I am looking forward to today:
- Work has been really good.. Bruce, the new designer is SO funny... he's sarcastic in a good way and we already have a great repor.. it makes working in my awesome station even BETTER! I feel very valued at work and that makes me very happy! I am a lucky woman!
- Listening to my awesome Audiobook of 'The Law of Attraction" I listen to it on my IPOD while I work. When I start to not focus on what's being said.. I start it over again..
2 long term things I'm looking forward to:
- When I move back to my former apartment. I LOVE during the spring.. with all the windows open.. AH.. Some of my best days were waking up to a beautiful morning in that apartment.. meditating to the sounds of the cicadas and I'm SO excited i'll be moving in when those days will be there!!! Again... your looking at a lucky woman!
- Going Strawberry Picking again this year hopefully!!! Maybe this year we can make it a group event...

I appreciate Kevin.. I love when I'm sitting next to him on the couch watching TV and we laugh and joke around with each other.. it makes me happy in my soul..
Ok.. off to create a beautiful day... I get the feeling something amazingly wonderful is going to happen todya!

Ditto Kyra's first sentence. And that apartment IS dope. Well, the apt is pretty ok, but it was dope after you got done w/ it....u need to gimme a call sometime to tel me the whole story about how u came to get your old apt back...i'm glad you're finally in an environment (or maybe it's just your mental approach thats different) where you are enjoying yourself and feeling appreciated...there are very few things that make a daily grind more difficult than feeling unappreciated...OR..this just occurred to me...is your new non-mentally-self-defeatest mindset now allowing you to perform in such a way that paople can't help but appreciate it, b/c in the absence of all negative inferences the only things left for them to recognize are the positive ones left...right? maybe? yao ming?
